Brief Bio and Background about Puja Mistry
My name is Puja Mistry and I am honoured to extend a warm welcome to you. As the founder of NextGenEducatorsPujaM and SmartMindswithPujaM, I serve as a dedicated coach for parents and educators. My commitment lies in supporting both groups in nurturing young children during their pivotal kindergarten years. Employing a compassionate and tailored approach, I strive to offer practical guidance, emotional support and effective strategies that foster confidence, resilience and a love for learning in children. Whether you are a parent seeking to cultivate a supportive home environment or a kindergarten teacher aiming to enhance your pedagogical methods, I am here to assist you at every stage. A little about myself
My journey into the field of education began in 2014, when I graduated with an ECCEd&A course from Podar Education Network. Prior to this, I completed a Master’s degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounts from Mithibai College. Transitioning from a background in numbers to taking on the responsibility of nurturing young minds has been a rewarding and transformative experience. Being a Teacher for four years, I gained comprehensive knowledge of holistic child development, including child psychology, learning patterns and behaviour, health, hygiene, safety and security. To deepen my understanding, I pursued a diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling, along with specialized training in School Counseling, equipping me to better address behavioural and emotional aspects of early years education.
My professional growth extended beyond classroom teaching into leadership roles, including Franchise Supervisor for Podar Jumbo Kids, Teacher Trainer Supervisor at the Podar Institute of Education, Senior Academic Manager to Chief Manager at Podar Institute of Education. Throughout these roles, I gained invaluable experience working across diverse curriculum, collaborating with global philosophers, training teachers and developing curriculum frameworks including Dubai and the Maharashtra International Educational Board (MIEB). I have also been involved in academic planning and leadership development programs, including a brain development course from Laser Learning UK.
With over a decade of dedicated experience in early childhood education, I have now channelled my expertise into creating platforms such as SmartMindswithPujaM and NextGenEducatorsPujaM. These initiative pages aim to support parents, teachers and educators by offering practical tips and insights that can be effectively applied at home and in schools to foster the healthy development of young minds.
